Our story began in Australia where we began constructing work and safety boots for rugged Australian conditions. We’ve since grown to become Australia’s leading manufacturer of work boots and have subsidiaries in USA and Europe.

With a strong team of sales managers across the United States, a Customer Service team based in Houston and a stocked smart warehouse, we’re embedded into the US.

Our comfort guaranteed boots are manufactured in Australia and our dedicated facility in Indonesia to ensure steady supply of product.

Our women’s safety footwear integrates almost 3 decades of research. As a result, our boots are lightweight and rugged without compromising comfort.

Specifically developed just for women, our ladies range includes a shorter ankle length and smaller instep to fit the female foot anatomy.

We manufacture our women’s work boots on a true female last (or footwear mold) for a better fit. Unlike other footwear brands which use scaled-down men’s shoe molds for a general unisex fit, Steel Blue is invested in making the most comfortable women’s work boots.
