Steel Blue Releases New Slate-coloured Safety Boots.
Safety footwear manufacturer Steel Blue is excited to announce its new line of Slate coloured boots targeted at the next generation of ‘trendy tradies’ and ‘lady tradies’.
The Slate boot incorporates all the technology and fit from current boot designs in a fashionable new colour that appeals to all genders. Based on feedback we found young, fashion-conscious tradies prefer trendy, neutral tone colours in their work boots to compliment their work apparel; a growing trend from leading workwear brands found at their local retail safety specialist. The new offering includes both men and women’s fits with key stylistic features to make a more inclusively designed work boot for tradespeople.
Steel Blue CEO Garry Johnson said, “Our goal was to create a practical and fashionable boot for all people that caters to the anatomical differences in men and women’s feet without being overly feminine or gendered.”

Steel Blue Ladies Fit boots come with a smaller instep in length and circumference, shorter ankle length and shallower first toes than men’s boots to better support women’s different foot anatomy.
