Purple Bra Day 2020
Steel Blue is proud to once again support Breast Cancer Care WA’s Purple Bra Day, which is more important this year than ever.
All money raised on Friday September 18 will fund free of charge specialist breast care nursing, counselling and financial support for any West Australian and their families facing a diagnosis of breast cancer.
Steel Blue is 100% committed to supporting this service through the range of Pink and Purple Boots. $10 from every pair of Pink and Purple Boots sold is donated directly to Breast Cancer Care WA. To date, over $1.4 million has been donated.
The impact coronavirus has had on the breast cancer journey in 2020 has seen an increase in demand for Breast Cancer Care WA services.
Every year they support over 1,000 West Australian families, but recently have seen a 25% increase in demand. Funds raised on Purple Bra Day will help fund a fifth breast care nurse to support this need.
How to donate
18 September marks the main Purple Bra Day event where you’ll see Steel Blue shaking tins in the Perth CBD. Over 1,700 West Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, so help us get on board and support those families!
