Nearly eight people in Australia take their own lives every day six of whom are men. For every pair of blue leather safety boots sold, Steel Blue donate $10 to Beyond Blue to support better mental health. So far, we have donated over $400,000 to Beyond Blue and look forward to continuing to build on this.

Helping Improve Mental Health
Steel Blue is taking steps to make a difference to Mental Health in Australia.
Proudly Supporting Breast Cancer Care
With 1 in 7 women being diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, educating the community is paramount.
Since 2007, Steel Blue have donated $10 per pair of our pink and purple boots purchased and, so far, have raised over $1,800,000. This money is helping Breast Cancer Care WA create education initiatives aimed at increasing awareness and to enable early detection of breast cancer. Receiving no government funding, this charity relies on the generosity of the community so that it can continue to provide its services to those affected by breast cancer at no charge.
Reconciliation Action Plan
We imagine a future where all Australians are united by a shared past, present and future.
For Steel Blue, reconciliation means continuous learning, collaborating, honouring and championing meaningful change for a better, united future for everyone.
We developed a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) because we recognise that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples face obstacles that stem from colonisation and generational trauma. We recognise that such challenges may be alleviated if the Australian community and business community act as allies.

Clontarf Foundation
Steel Blue is a proud partner of the Clontarf Foundation.
The Clontarf Foundation improves the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, and by doing so, equips them to participate more meaningfully in society. Success is measured by the extent to which boys graduating from the programme either find jobs and keep them or continue in further education.
Soccer Academy Sponsorship
Steel Blue’s dedicated manufacturing partner is based in Jakarta.
We are proud to support the local soccer academy by providing funds to facilitate junior social and sporting development activities and to purchase kits and equipment.
Environment Disaster Support
Where possible, we provide footwear to those affected by environmental disasters and those who assist with recovery efforts.
In 2020 Steel Blue donated over $50,000 to the bushfire recovery services in Australia, as well as a number of boots to assist those with the recovery.
Swan Districts Football Club Sponsorship
Steel Blue has been a proud sponsor of Swan Districts Football Club since 2004.
The club’s core purpose is more than just football; it’s to build the community and improve people’s lives. The Swan Districts Football Club runs many community programs to connect and engage with marginalised people and communities, including youth at risk, seniors, people with disabilities, Aboriginal and multicultural people.
WA Charity Direct Contributions
Established in 2004, WA Charity Direct has made a significant difference to the lives of many within the community.
Steel Blue makes recurrent contributions to WA Charity Direct, the organisation gives away 100% of all funds raised to local charities or individuals in need.
Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed male cancer in Australia with more than 3,000 men dying of the disease every year.
The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia works tirelessly to lessen the impact of prostate cancer on men, their partners, families and the wider community. They achieve this by funding innovative research, raising awareness and providing practical resources such as support groups and specialist prostate cancer nurses.
Steel Blue has previously donated over $75,000 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA), funds which have gone towards helping to reduce the impact of prostate cancer on Australian men and their families.
