Steel Blue has had a lot of good ideas over the years, including our:

• Trisole, a multilayer sole with extremely effective cushioning and shock absorption
• Composite Toe Cap, which is airport-friendly and more lightweight than standard safety toe caps (available in our Australian range)
• Use of PORON® in our Trisole (Comfort Technology), which is now the benchmark for safety boots
• Zip Sided boots, which were developed for workers who were going in and out of houses all day
• Lightweight boots to reduce foot fatigue
• Use of anti-chaff lining

Steel Blue safety boots comply with American Safety Footwear Certification ASTM F2413. Our safety boots also comply with major international standards including the Australian and New Zealand Safety Footwear Standard AS/NZS 2210.3, and International and European Safety Footwear Certification EN ISO 20345
